Jersey Shore: How Will the Season End?

As Jersey Shore's third season comes to a close (MTV, Thursday, 10 p.m. ET), viewers will probably be rooting for three things:

1. That Ronnie and Sammi break up and stay that way. These two seemingly enjoy coming up with new ways to enrage each other, but eventually even explosive outbursts get boring. Plus, the rest of the gang keeps getting pulled into the fray, bringing everybody down -- especially Mike (The Situation). And he's much more entertaining when he's cracking pearls of wisdom about his housemates. A notable wisecrack from last week: "It just so happens Deena defies the laws of intelligence. I never thought someone would make Snooki look like a rocket scientist."

2. That Jenni (JWoww) figures out how she feels about her beef-cakey pal, Roger Matthews. (He wants a romantic commitment before she leaves Miami and returns to Long Island, but there's no telling what she'll do.)

3. That Snooki and Vinny call it quits. They are somewhat cute together, and they genuinely share some mutual affection. But Vinny clearly views Snooki as a fallback girl for nights when he doesn't get lucky elsewhere. Snooki's not exactly the queen of monogamy, but she is the biggest star of this bunch of hooligans. She deserves better.

Once these plotlines are tied up, it's bye-bye, New Jersey. And buon giorno to Italy! Oh, poor Italy.
